On the evening of Oct. 4th, the strategic opening ceremony of ‘Beijing Week’ was taken place outside the horticultural garden in Langston Park in Ottawa. There was a plethora of important figures who joined the ceremony, such as, the vice city mayor of Beijing, the mayor of Ottawa, and Chinese ambassador in Canada. Also, CCUI’s chairman Jianhua Wei was specially invited and has witnessed the whole ceremony.
CCUI and Beijing World Horticultural EXPO Bureau has jointly established a business management company, which is aimed to introduce market mechanism and fully develop the value of the 2019 World EXPO in Beijing, and it also obtains other purposes, such as, brand sponsorship, investment and other related market development works.
As The Messenger of The Culture Exchange, Beijing World Horticultural Exposition Mascot Appears for The First Time Overseas
During the ceremony, the mascot was presented as a gift to the mayor of Ottawa by the vice city mayor of Beijing. This Mascot officially opened a joyful life in Canada and located in Langston Park in Ottawa.
Beijing and Ottawa have forged a valuable friendship since they became friendly cities in 1999. Since the mascot is successfully settled in Ottawa, it fully demonstrated the profound friendship between Beijing and Ottawa, and also symbolises the wishes from Canada to Beijing World Horticultural Exposition.
CCUI and Cirque Du Soleil working together to build world’s top cultural feast
As soon as the opening ceremony had been over, another strategic signing ceremony was occurred between the vice president of Beijing Horticultural EXPO and the CEO of Cirque Du Soleil.
Cirque Du Soleil has promised to offer Beijing Expo a unique and original performance based on the theme ‘Green living, beautiful home’, and would blend in Chinese culture and other concepts related to the EXPO. As one of the highlight and attractions of the Beijing Expo, Cirque Du Soleil will be dedicated to enhancing market brand impact, attracting more tourists and stimulating derivative consumption.
Theme promotion will heavily focus on Chinese culture and Chinese Charm
On Oct. 5th, Beijing Horticultural Exposition held a theme promotion ‘promote feelings China magical plants’, with gardening experience activities and full of Chinese style and characteristics of the tea culture, flower arrangement, Chinese style floats, the purpose is to tell everyone around the world about Chinese gardening, and spreads the traditional culture of Beijing to all visitors.
During the theme promotion, the Beijing EXPO Bureau made a campaign for the 2019 Beijing World Horticultural Exposition. He has clearly expressed that the EXPO will be focused on plants, he wishes to show the world how powerful and magical plants could be, and it will include flowers, fruits, vegetables, medicines and tea. He tried to invite the people from all over the world to feel the charm of plants, give thanks for the gifts of nature, and share a grand horticultural event.
Furthermore, they will also hold a special flower arrangement show, promote a documentary named as ‘Chinese Plants that Changed the World’, and many other exciting events. The Beijing EXPO bureau has repeatedly expressed how much they want to share the stories of Chinese gardening to the world.
