CCUI Culture launched the 28th China Golden Rooster Hundred Flowers Film Festival ‘Russian film week’

2019 marks the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Russia. Since it coincides with the first settlement of China Golden Rooster hundred flowers film festival in Xiamen, in order to promote cultural exchanges between the two countries, the 28th China Golden Rooster Hundred Flowers Film Festival ‘Russian film week’ series activities sponsored by Xiamen film and television industry development working group office, Xiamen culture and Tourism Bureau, Russian film group and CCUI officially opened on the afternoon of November 24. More than 100 guests from Xiamen film and television and media industry attended the opening ceremony. Ms. Li Bing, General Manager of CCUI Culture and Mr. Deng Qingxian, Executive Producer of CCUI Culture, as the host guests, jointly launched the film week with leaders including Vice Minister of Publicity Department of Xiamen Municipal Committee, Vice Chairman of Xiamen TV Artists Association, Director of Media Management Office of Xiamen Culture and Tourism Bureau, representative of Russian film group, General Manager of Bona International Film City, and delivered speeches.
‘Russian film week’ is a single national film week series activity created for the first time by the 28th China Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival. During the five-day event, four representative Russian films, Never Part, Lost Way in Greece, Mystery of Dragon Brand and Divorce Bar, will be shown in Xiamen to show Chinese fans the charm of Russian films.
Alexey A. Petrukhin, Chairman of the Russian Film Group, sent a video message to the opening ceremony, thanking the Russian film week for providing the audience with a platform for cultural exchanges between China and Russia, as well as an opportunity to show the unique charm of Russian films.
Mr. Deng Qingxian, Executive Producer of CCUI Culture, shared the experience of promoting international film and television cultural exchanges. He said that for a long time, CCUI has had close exchanges and interactions with well-known international film industry countries. By holding film weeks, film and television education and other activities, CCUI has accelerated the learning and integration of bilateral cultural and educational industries. CCUI Culture is looking forward to cooperate with Russia and Xiamen in the future. It hopes to do its best to promote cooperation and landing of both sides in film co production and film education, and make greater contributions to strengthening cultural exchanges between China and Russia!
Prior to the opening of the film week, CCUI Culture has invited and accompanied the Russian film and television delegation, including the Chairman of the Russian film group and the leaders of Russian film and television universities, to visit Xiamen and have talks with some potential partners. In the near future, CCUI Culture will carry out in-depth exchanges and cooperation with Xiamen Institute of technology in the film and television vocational training sector, introduce Russian film and television professional colleges to Xiamen Institute of technology, design and develop cooperative education projects in film and television between China and Russia, and contribute to the promotion of film and television cultural exchanges and cooperation between the two countries.
